What to expect

Vashishta Gurukul is a small, intentional community. We do not mass-enroll. Every family that joins has a conversation with us first, so we can understand your goals and make sure the program is the right fit.

Classes meet on weekends on the Panchavati campus in Celina, Texas. We ask for a seasonal commitment, one term at a time, so that both teacher and student can invest fully.

Every class is recorded and transcribed, so enrolled students always have both audio and text to revisit at home between sessions. This is also how we keep pronunciation and chanting consistent from week to week.

Frequently Asked

Do students need prior Sanskrit knowledge?

No. All programs begin from zero, with Sanskrit as the starting point. We will meet you where you are, and if you don't know which Veda your own family follows, we'll help you find out.

Can parents attend with their children?

Yes, and we encourage it. The Vedic tradition was transmitted through family. Parents who learn alongside their children create a home practice environment that multiplies the impact of the classroom.

What is the tuition model?

We operate on a dana (gift) model where families contribute according to their means. Our goal is that no child is ever turned away for financial reasons. We'll let every family know directly if and when any part of a contribution becomes tax-deductible.

Where exactly is the campus?

The Panchavati campus is in Celina, Texas, about 45 minutes north of Dallas and 30 minutes from Frisco. Exact directions are shared after enrollment confirmation.

Is this affiliated with any temple or religious organization?

Vashishta Gurukul is part of the Panchavati ecosystem, which includes a future Temple Trust as a separate, independent entity. The Gurukul itself is a language and heritage school, Sanskrit first and family tradition second, educational and non-sectarian within the Vedic tradition. All Hindu families and seekers are welcome regardless of sampradaya.
