We teach Sanskrit as a living language, and through it, the five bodies of knowledge Sanskrit was used to preserve. Every student's path runs through one or more of these, starting wherever your family's own heritage begins.
Rig, Yajur, Sama, and Atharva: the primary revelation, transmitted by sound and memory, belonging to specific families.
The essence distilled from every Veda: direct inquiry into the nature of the self, shared by all four Vedic families alike.
The Veda applied: Ayurveda, Dhanurveda, Gandharvaveda, Sthapatyaveda, and, through Sarvaveda, extended into science and AI today.
The Ramayana and Mahabharata: dharma taught through story, the way most families first meet the tradition.
The cosmological and devotional literature behind every festival, deity, and family custom.
We do not teach a single blended curriculum. A Rig Veda family learns Rig Veda, properly, from the source, then carries out its daily Dharmic duties by it, for the household, the community, and the country. Yajur Veda families do the same for Yajur Veda. Sama for Sama. Atharva for Atharva.
Each Veda has always belonged to specific families: its own recitation, its own daily duty, its own way of serving self, society, and nation. We teach each one as it actually belongs to the families who carry it.
Every Veda ends in an Upanishad, its philosophical culmination. Whichever Veda your family follows, the Upanishads are the same essence underneath it: the move from ritual to direct inquiry into the self.
The Upavedas are what the Vedas became when applied to daily life. This is also where our mission reaches beyond the classroom, offering the essence of the Veda back to our home today, in health, science, and technology.
Beyond the traditional four: our mission extends this same applied spirit to mathematics, modern science, and artificial intelligence, through the Sarvaveda partnership building a verified Vedic corpus and language model.
Not every family reaches the Vedas through ritual first. Most reach it through story. The Itihasas (histories) and Puranas carry the same truths in narrative form, and are often a family's first and most lasting connection to the tradition.
Across all five streams, the Vedas are not merely ancient texts to be read or studied. They are a timeless manual for human life and cosmic alignment, a living technology of consciousness, preserved intact through 5,000 years of oral transmission precisely because their purpose is not historical but eternal.
The Vedas provide knowledge that cannot be reached by ordinary sense perception or logical intellect alone. They are the Pramana, the valid source, for understanding the deepest truths of existence, consciousness, and liberation.
The practice of chanting specific Aranyaka mantras is designed for Arogya, holistic health in body, mind, and spirit. Vedic sound vibrations purify the internal and external environments and offer Roga Nivarana: protection from and cure of ailments at every level.
By chanting and meditating upon the elements, the Sun, Fire, Water, Earth, and Space, the individual aligns their microcosm with the macrocosm. This alignment leads to ultimate spiritual peace (Shanti) and, in its fullness, liberation from the cycle of suffering.
However a family arrives at this material, by age or by their own Veda, here is how classes are actually organized on the ground at the Panchavati campus.
Children's sessions are designed to plant the seed of Vedic tradition in young minds, before the intellect has built walls against the sacred. We begin with the most beloved and powerful hymns, taught through listening, repetition, and melody, exactly as they have been transmitted for millennia.
Adult sessions focus on traditional Vedic practices, spiritual discipline, and scriptural chanting: the full sadhana of a householder walking the Vedic path, taught according to each family's own Veda where relevant. The emphasis is on daily practice (parayana) as a living discipline, not academic study.
Schedule: Children's programs meet Saturdays. Adult programs meet Sundays, with monthly intensive weekends (Saturday and Sunday, full day) for deeper scriptural study and practice. All sessions are on the Panchavati campus in Celina, Texas. Exact times shared at enrollment.

In the Vedic worldview, human wellbeing is never one-dimensional. The Vedas themselves describe Anna (food), Go (the cow), and Jnana (knowledge) as the three pillars of a dharmic life. At Panchavati, all three come together in one place, for the first time in North Texas.

The Vedas are clear: Ahara Shuddhou Sattva Shuddhi, when food is pure, the mind becomes pure. Prana Farm grows organic, chemical-free produce on the same campus where our students chant. A student who eats sattvic food practices Vedic wisdom with every meal.
Seasonal CSA boxes, farmers market, and farm-to-table produce, supporting the full Vedic lifestyle of every Gurukul family.

The Vedas place the cow, Gomata, at the center of a dharmic community. Go-seva (service to cows) is itself a Vedic practice: purifying the environment, cultivating compassion, and connecting the practitioner to the living presence of the sacred. Gausevak is a cow sanctuary on the same land.
Students chant in the presence of the cows. This is not symbolic. The Vedas prescribe it as the ideal learning environment.

Sanskrit and the knowledge it carries reveal why the food must be pure, why the cow is sacred, and what the practitioner is ultimately moving toward. Without Jnana, even the best food and the purest environment remain incomplete.
Vashishta Gurukul is where each family's own Vedic tradition is transmitted, from teacher to student, in the gurukul way, on living land.
You Are HereSattvic food from Prana Farm nourishes the body for chanting. The sacred presence of Gomata at Gausevak purifies the environment. And Sanskrit and Vedic knowledge transmitted at Vashishta Gurukul illuminate why all of it matters. This is the integrated Vedic life, not as a concept from the past, but as a living reality in Celina, Texas, available to North Texas families today.
